STORY: Bake4Ukraine creator appears on MSNBC news

Andriy Vasylenko, the founder of Bake4Ukraine and managing director of Zeelandia Ukraine, has appeared on international news channel MSNBC to spread the word about his efforts in the war-torn country.

Vasylenko started the initiative with his wife Arenda, and the two have led the scheme through which fresh bread and soup is made locally and handed out for free to the people in need in Kyiv.

The team of volunteers is now baking 1,700 loaves of bread daily and giving out 2,000 portions of soup per day.

Zeelandia is supporting Bake4Ukraine by making its facilities and raw materials available so that together with volunteers of bakery 21.3 they can make this happen for as long as is needed and is possible.

Bake4Ukraine needs all the help it can get. The baking industry can support them by donating directly via the website.
