Longboys announce two new stores, Borough Yards and Liverpool Street

Gourmet doughnut purveyors, Longboys, has confirmed two new sites due to open in October 2023, cementing plans for expansion across the UK.

Launching late October, Borough Yards is set to be the brand’s biggest site yet, offering 45 covers split across two floors, with counter dining at ground level. Liverpool Street will operate a grab-and-go concept, with the full menu available, opening mid-October.

Longboys was founded in 2019 by critically acclaimed pastry chef Graham Hornigold, best known for his time at the renowned Lanesborough Hotel and Hakkasan group.

Graham’s high-end patisserie expertise has resulted in an Éclair-doughnut hybrid and is currently the first and only dedicated finger doughnut brand in London. All doughnuts are hand-rolled fresh, every day in small batches, to create a light brioche base filled with compotes, fillings, glazes, and toppings, all carefully curated in-house.

Using only the finest seasonal ingredients, both sites will offer the new autumn range of flavours, including Sticky Toffee Pudding, Coconut Chocolate, Vanilla Malt and Apple Crumble.

Longboys currently has two dedicated doughnut stores in London, the Coal Drops Yard flagship, and Boxpark Wembley - serving doughnuts daily, as well as gourmet soft serve ice cream, milkshakes, speciality coffee and craft sodas.

The group are also stocked in London’s Harrods and Selfridges.
Graham Hornigold commented:

“This is a really exciting time for us as a brand, our expansion plans are taking shape. We want as many people as possible to enjoy our doughnuts, they’re the real deal. With more sites means more opportunity, We’d love to introduce new products and offer an interactive element to our customers in the future, watch this space.”
